Common Errors: Watch Out! Students often make mistakes with this topic. Wrong: A portfolio is just a collection of your best finished pieces of artwork. Correct: A portfolio is EVIDENCE OF YOUR CREATIVE JOURNEY, not a gallery of finished pieces. AQA assesses how you DEVELOPED ideas (AO1), EXPERIMENTED (AO2), RECORDED (AO3) and PRESENTED (AO4). A beautiful final piece without the journey of development scores poorly. Include process work, experiments, failures and annotations.
Stretch & Challenge (Grade 8-9):
